Custom Monopoly

For the Lasercut Toy Challenge I asked myself "What is the board game that brings the whole family together?" And the answer that first came to my mind was Monopoly! Wouldn't it be nice to have a customized Monopoly board, with your favorite theme, your hometown street names... and that can be changed all the time? The concept I'm presenting is based on a common base for the board, where everything is standard except for the four tables where the spaces ares engraved. The contents of each space can be edited by yourself. On the uploaded example I've designed a Supercars edition of Monopoly. The colored zones of the spaces are made of plastic, easily printable with a 3D printer, but can be made with a laser cutted part as well. The houses, hotels and totems can be customized to be 3D printed, or you can just use the ones on your old Monopoly. The whole design has only 8 reference parts for laser cut, that are multiplied to make a total of 49 parts, made of 3 and 5 mm thick plates and with the original board dimensions.
