I repurposed an old FirWire Hard Drive case to work as a project box to fit my ATMEGA 2560 w/ RAMPS 1.4 board, external Heatbed MOSFET and more for future upgrades. The aluminum enclosure of the OWC Mercury Elite Pro is the perfect project box for that. The custom made face plate has a 40x40 fan mount, 2x NEUTRIK Professional grade ports (I used one for a custom XLR 12V power supply and the other one for future upgrades, like a CAT data bus system etc...) 3x 12V automotive fuse holders with status LEDs, A ON/OFF switch and a USB Type B Jack port.
