Custom throttle detent for Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X

I found the center detent of my Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X to be completely pointless. I would much rather have no detent or, better yet, have a mil power detent! Some people have removed the detent by filing the little nub that engages the detent down. However, this severely reduces the friction of the throttle. And it does not allow a mil power detent. But thanks to the power of 3D printing, we can make a much better mod: A custom version of the friction surface with the detent. This mod allows you to have no detent or a mil power detent, all without permanent modifications and with dead simple installation. Known issue: The joystick also comes with a software deadzone around the detent. This mod does not change that. So your resulting throttle will still have a deadzone around the center point and it will not have a deadzone in the new detent. I use this joystick for DCS and that allows me to create a deadzone at the position of the new detent using custom curves.
