My 6 year old son (July 2022) have a passion for Hot Wheels and build different types of playsets or tracks. We decided lets try and make our own customized tracks that could compliment and work with existing Hot Wheels single lane straight tracks and connectors as well as creating our own. This is my first design using AutoCad Fusion 360 (Licensed). Print each piece separately. I provided my print settings below. Download, print and hope you enjoy. I would appreciate your feedback post print, pictures and your attribution if possible. I will be creating new designs soon and due to the restrictive license posted here, is only because it is my intent to print and sell locally. Update: New Slim Connector Version 4 and Entry Exit Connector stl added. Print the Entry Exit Connector using supports (touching build plate should be fine) Note: I have added entry exit connector and updated the slim connector V4 to a smaller height, length and width and I am still yet to print and test it however you will notice that in the rear of the track there are small 4mm holes to use bolt and nut which provides plenty of support or rigidity to the track thus making the track sturdy and not break apart from the geforce the cars create whilst speeding around the track. I will be modifying the some of the inside location of the holes on the stands as well as adding more slim connector slots on the outside lane (the track lanes are a bit thin hence will be making it thicker to accomodate the additional slim connector slots) For the entry and exit connectors, please free to use my design or any alternative connector or Hot Wheel connector as I am actively optimizing my current version. Many thanks Print settings I have an Ender 3 S1 Changed print nozzle from 0.4 to 0.3 Sliced used Cura by changing print nozzle size to 0.3 Downloaded and used Chep Cura profiles for ender 3 S1 and chose rough profile however changed quality of print to 0.2, nozzle temp 245deg celcius, bed temp 80deg celcius, (ambient temp inside house is around 20deg celcius due to winter July-Sep and Ender 3 is open printer. Adjust your nozzle temp lower or higher depending on your ambient temp or print a temp tower to check your optimal nozzle temp), print speed 50mm/s, fan speed 50%. Print standing up with Raft due to better adhesion. For additional bed adhesion I spray a bit of SA Filament Adhesive (Available in South Africa) and some hair spray, let it dry and then warm the bed (ultimate hold or the strongest you can get)
