Wooden phone case designed to snap together without hardware over a slim rubber case (http://www.thingiverse.com/make:326782), cut from 3 mm wood. Lots of personalization options on back with etching or cut outs. Engrave your name, your mother's face, your favorite superhero or vegetable. The connectors can be fragile, but if you take it slow and are gentle with them they snap together nicely and keep the two halves secure. The file cuts extras for if/when one breaks or if you need to take the case off and on. Love case is just an example of what can be done, but also available to customize.
