Customisable fan duct and inlet

Customisable fan duct and inlet

thingiverse

Many fans have a wide gap between the edge of the blades and the fan shroud. This can be used to create a thin fan duct between the case of the fan and the edge of the blades to improve the effectiveness of the fan, and with a curved inlet will reduce (to a small degree) the resistance of air entering the fan. I specifically created it to create an inlet to the unshrouded fan on a Zotac Nvidia GTX 750ti graphics card. It doesn't really need it to be honest as it doesn't overheat, but I didn't like the inherent inefficiency of the unshrouded fan allowing air to escape without passing through the heatsink. It was more of a learning exercise.
