Customizable cable pass join

Customizable cable pass join

thingiverse

This model is designed as a join to protect cables passing trough a hole. It is customizable and should accommodate any cable and hole diameter. The join is printed as an arc and closes to form a full circle when inserted. The open-scad routine requires 4 parameters: D1 is the diameter of the hole D2 is the diameter of the cable T is the depth of the hole Ang is the angle the join will form You may refer to the schema included to see the function of those parameters. If you change the value of Ang, the code will automatically change the diameter of the 3D model so that it fits exactly to D1 and D2 when closed. That is to say that if you ask for a small angle, the diameter of the arked join will increase to for a circle of diameter D2 after being forced closed. This model should be printed in TPU or other flexible materials. Supports are useful.
