This is Version 1.0. See the latest version here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2156682 This is my first, original, customizable OpenSCAD design. This is a car vent sunglass holder with a ball and socket connector. It is very small and unobtrusive on your dash, but keeps the sunglasses handy. The cool thing about this Thingy, is the printing of the ball in the socket all at once. There is just a little resistance to the ball turning when you first take it off the print bed. But, a little twist breaks it free and it turns nicely in the socket. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Rework 1.5 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .2 Infill: 100 Notes: Printed with ABS since it will be in the sun (albeit through glass) and stored in a hot car. Would probably be fine with PLA.
