Rectangular Case Generator. The inset lid is secured in place by friction, which can be enhanced with thicker layers to keep the case shut. I'm utilizing 200 micron layers for this purpose. The hinge flexes, making flexible plastics more suitable for this design, and I've found MadeSolid PET+ to work well. However, less flexible materials like ABS or PLA may also function adequately, possibly requiring adjustments such as lengthening or thinning the hinge.
