Customizable Commodore 64 Cartridge

Have an old Commodore 64 cartridge that lost its case? Have a new Commodore 64 cartridge that never had a case? This is a 2-part cartridge case that closely mimics the design and measurements of the cartridges Commodore made for the 64 in the early 80s. This design is Customizer enabled, so you can modify it in a number of ways: remove debossed stripes punch out label hole entirely adjust length of cart based on PCB length adjust position and size of PCB mounting hole, or remove it entirely add support feet to the back (good for longer/heavier cartridges) If you have other ideas for other customization parameters, feel free to contact me and I'll see what I can do. I've also included two sets of STLs: standard-c64-cartridge_*.stl — case for a standard Commodore cartridge for the 64. gyruss-c64--cartridge_*.stl — case for Gyruss. Probably also works with other Parker Brothers carts for the Commodore 64. Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Notes: When printing on FDM printers I recommend printing with full support, and orienting the case with the opening on the print bed. This should be the default orientation of this model with most slicers. This orientation ensures that the support material will be entirely inside the case, so the outside will be unblemished (except inside the connector port). How I Designed This I have some cartridges form my Commodore 64 that had no case -- they were just bare PCBs. One of them, Lazarian, is a standard Commodore cartridge, and I found a design, Makerboost's Commodore 64 Cartridge, that would work with it. Not all cartridges are compatible with the standard case layout, however. For example, another cartridge I own is Gyruss, which was published by Parker Brothers. Parker Brothers used a shorter PCB than Commodore, and a different mounting hole size and position. I played around with slicing and dicing the STLs to get something that would work, but Thingiverse's Customizer doesn't support STL import. I even tried an STL to OpenSCAD converter, but the resulting source was so huge Customizer couldn't load it. I ended up creating a new design from scratch in pure OpenSCAD. I used my Radar Rat Race cart, which still has its original case, as a source of measurements. I also made the design parametric, so that it could work in Customizer. This is the result.
