Customizable desk organizer

My solution to the student design challenge is a fully customizable desk organizer. I accomplished this by only making the joints that are in between pieces of cut foam board (5 mm thick). This allows you to be able to make things like a paper bin for work that is done, or a small slot to hold all your pens and pencils. If you get creative enough you can make things like a shelf on the back side of your organizer. Once you are done prototyping your organizer you can take it apart and paint or draw on it ,for the next level of customization. There was only one problem that I came across with and that was the right sizing of the clips. I had to make them big enough that they would fit but they had to be tight enough to not slide. If I could redesign this project I would most likely make it more compatible with other sizes of foam board. If this were to happen that would allow you to make some parts of the organizer stronger with a thicker foam and some parts slim and lightweight. 3d printing helps the design because the parts can be made at some homes and most schools. Also the main part of the organiser is foam board which means that you can make the connectors fast because of how small they are.
