This is a customizable filament spool or wheel creator. I created this to make a filament spool for some loose filaments I have but by turning off filament holes it can create wheels as well. The hub and outer diameter are adjustable as well as a few other options. This spool/wheel creator uses an angled fillet which allows the upper ring to be printed without supports. I may modify this to add more options in the future. This is a project to help me learn the OpenSCAD programming language. The stl included is my version of a filament spool for loose filament and was printed on a FlashForge Creator Pro, the hub is designed to fit a Hatchbox spool holder. Update 4/20/2015 - Updated openscad code to fix the preview in customizer, thanks to wstein for the tip! Update 5/10/2015 - Updated source file to fix issue with starting filament hole for some configurations when using customizer.
