Now with toothy door jamb-gripping action! NOTE: Script corrected with Customizer pathing and string conversion. If you use the code locally, you will need to change the path to /Write.scad and your font. In the course of using these widgets to actually hold doors (and other things) open, it has come to light that 3D printed plastic is pretty slippery. the OpenSCAD script now allows you to add teeth with a customized bite to the wedge you are making. Highly recommended. Also - printing with at least 50% infill prevents catastrophic crushing. Just sayin. Instructions If you are gonna ask this widget to actually do something, print it with at least 3 layers top and bottom, 2 perimeters, and 50% infill. Too little material in the wedge and they crush and split. Good results with 0.25 mm layer height.
