Customizable Glass Bed Holder (when it is off the printer)

This is a custom glass bed holder if you have multiple beds and shift them out to let parts cool. You can use it as-is, or grab some Surface Guards from your local hardware store that grab onto glass nicely (pictures have some attached to the 'default' size). We stuck the adhesive pads to the top and bottom of the support cylinders, that is why you see a small gap under the complete piece. It will print with the entire piece flat on your print bed. Be careful about going too big, and make sure it fits on your print bed before starting off. Size it right so it fits your print bed and is a stable base when it is cooling/being stored. The gusseting is strong at 6mm, but can be beefed up if it is required. The one printed is with 2 perimeters and 20% infill, and holds up well. The only thing I would recommend is top and bottom perimeters upped to 3-4 so the adhesives can be pressed into the surface firmly. Each side has a small notch, this is to make it easy to hang out of the way. We hand it on our cork board that holds our order forms, but can be peg or nail mounted. This does not need accuracy, so 0.3mm layer height will get it done faster. Be careful when sizing it, it is a solid one piece print and can really stretch your printer to the maximum bed size. Post-Printing Surface Guard pads http://amzn.com/B007ZUENG0 These are clear, self stick surface pads designed to grab onto glass and other surfaces. It will ensure a good grip to your glass bed. It is not required, but highly recommended.
