Customizable Lofty Container (EPCOT Spaceship Earth style)

I was thinking about a Spaceship Earth style jar since I made my first container. I have no lid files included, this project holds only the jar files. You can find the corresponding caps here. I have printed it with transparent PLA filament like the other containers. I like the non-glossy surface, it looks like of frosted glass. If you open this thing in the Customizer you can not only build your own size of the container. You have also parameters to change the jar surface. See the two examples dimples_style_40.stl and cubes_style_40.stl for the possibility creating new interesting container surfaces. Instructions Print the lid from here as usual. Print the container with no infill and no top layer. Use shell thickness of about 1mm (diameter 20-60mm) and 1.25mm (diameter 75 and 100mm). This depends on your nozzle diameter. If the bottom is to unstable for you, you may try a thicker bottom thickness: 20-25mm diameter => 1mm 30-40mm diameter => 1.5mm 50-60mm diameter => 2mm 75-100mm diameter => 2.5mm I recommend Slic3r for slicing, it did always a great job. CURA is also possible but the result was not very good, each time I try it. Very rough on the inside, but maybe I missed the correct setting. I also recommend to check the container in the layer view before printing! The default density is calculated this way: y_density = round(sqrt(size x 50) / 6.25 - 0.2) x_density = round(y_density x 3.25 - 0.2) All default values: 25mm x=16 y=5 30mm x=19 y=6 40mm x=23 y=7 50mm x=26 y=8 60mm x=29 y=9 75mm x=32 y=10 100mm x=36 y=11
