A whole set of measuring spoons can be printed in custom sizes. Two different types are available. One can can sit flat on the counter without falling over, but they don't nest inside one another. The other type nests, but on extrusion printers you'll need to print it with support material to keep it from falling in on itself. You can also print a sweep for leveling powder and a coupling to make a handy ring. Of course the flat on counter version won't sit flat if you put them on a ring. There are also more settings you can change in the OpenSCAD file other than just the ones available in customizer. You can choose any sizes you want, but common sizes are: 1/8 tsp, 1/4 tsp, 1/2 tsp, 1 tsp, 1/2 tbsp and 1 tbsp If you're not interested in customizing and just want a set right away, download the .stl file. It contains the following pieces: 1/8 tsp, 1/4 tsp, 1/2 tsp, 1 tsp, 1 tbsp and a ring coupler. (All are U.S. sizes, for imperial measures, use the customizer.) These are the sit flat type and support material is not needed. The thickness is 2mm. They are arranged in such a way that they fit on a Thing-O-Matic build platform. It's a large build, so make sure that your platform is properly centered when you calibrate your printer. Instructions If your plastic has a light color, you can add a contrasting color to the text by using a Sharpie permanent marker at a 45 degree angle to lightly brush the tops of the text. Then paint the tops of the text with clear fingernail polish. Sharpies are available in various colors. The handle is thin, so be careful not to bend it when you remove it from the platform. It might even be best to just let the platform cool down before attempting to remove it. To make the ring, cut off a length of ~1.75-1.85mm filament. Thread your spoons onto the filament. Make sure it's going to be long enough. Coat each end with a compatible adhesive. Push the two ends of the filament into each end of the coupler. Wait for it to harden. For ABS I prefer the ABS cement that's used on drain pipes. All hardware stores have it and it's available in black or clear. If you want to be able to remove the spoons from the ring, I suggest using a keyring or a small loop of ball-chain instead.
