Customizable Optics Table Servo Mount

Customizable hobby servo mount for use with optics breadboard. The defaults are designed to mount a micro-servo (Hitech HS-65, but should fit other micro-servos as well) on an optics breadboard. The base holes are 2" apart, designed to accomodate 1/4-20 screws. The servo mount centers the shaft of the servo between the two base holes. Using customizer you can easily tweak the design to fit pretty much any hobby servo. Instructions Check out the schematics of your servo to figure out the best parameters to use with customizer. Print the mount, find some little bolts and nuts that will fit your servo's mounting holes and use those to secure the servo at the proper height. Photo Caption: In this example an Arduino-controlled servo is being used to actuate the knob of a rack and pinion style linear stage in order to constantly raster an optic back and forth.
