Update 2: I discovered that my nozzle was clogged and my filament was terrible. I reprinted today Feb 12th. I used a 0.60 nozzle, which saved a lot of time, but badly distorted the small number labels. Oh well. It inspired an update. Now, there's a version that is split into 2 halves. The lower 22mm is unlabeled, and the upper 2mm is just the labels. This way, you can print the lower with a large nozzle at high speed, and print the top with a small nozzle for precision. Also, you can print the lower without worrying about coming back to change the filament for the top contrasting numbers. Update 1: I printed this today, January 15th. Everything fits correctly, but I learned that I really need an enclosure. It's been really cold lately. The print warped, and the top layer of white pla did not adhere correctly. The result is an organizer that looks terrible but is still functional. I might reprint it eventually. This is an organizer for the Harbor Freight socket set SKU 62843, 47902, 61328, 63015, 975. Currently, these cost $6 at my local HF. I'm satisfied with my socket set, but the thin plastic organizer/divider is horrible quality. This will cost about $3 to print in PLA with 15% infill. That's still a bargain compared to buying a kit with a fancier case. Also, I took the time to label each socket, and put them in order, so you can easily find which one you need, and easily put them back in the correct place. Having the sockets in order helps find the right size, especially with the fraction inch units. It's not intuitive to remember that one step bigger than 3/8 is 13/32. This should have nearly zero stress on it, so low infill will be fine. I recommend printing it with a color change on the top layers to make the labels more legible. "box test" is a quick print to make sure this fits the internal dimensions of your socket set case. It's possible that there are different cases for this under the different SKUs listed above.
