Every player has their own preference for pick thickness, shape and material. This design features tapered thickness, variable corner radii and optional hole for hanging on a keyring, necklace, etc. UPDATE: Added a second STL file, modified with a center hole and a notch so it can be clipped onto a cord, whammy bar, belt loop or wherever it's convenient. You can even use it as a baggie tie! Instructions Due to a rounding error I am working on fixing for the next version, you will have to move the object onto the platform before printing. It may look like it's on the plate, but it's slightly off, and this may affect printing if you don't zero it. Makerware warns about this, other slicers may not. About the variables: Default values are optimized for nylon. The picks I have made out of Taulman's 618 and 645 are capable of handling extreme shredding and abuse that would destroy ABS or PLA in no time. If you do print with ABS or PLA, reduce tip height to around 0.5 and bevel to around 0.5 or 0.75, or else your pick will be very stiff. For a flat pick with no taper, set bevel to zero. Actual height of final object is determined by tip height and bevel angle. If height variable is too low, there will be flats at the thick parts, and the final object will not sit flat on the build platform.
