Customizable Threaded Tube

A highly versatile customizable threaded cylinder. The extremities of the cylinder can be one of three types, standard cylinder, male threaded cylinder, or female threaded cylinder. The length and diameter of the cylinder is adjustable and custom text can be engraved or debossed onto the side of the cylinder. This component should replace the need for aluminum/carbon cylinders in various projects. Multiple of these cylinders can be connected together to create a cylinder of arbitrary size. Information: Make sure to specify a longer threaded section for female ends for a better fit. This item utilizes the Threads OpenSCAD library (http://dkprojects.net/openscad-threads/) for precise ISO-compliant threads. All measurements on the customizer page are specified in millimeters (mm). Update: Modified the thread tolerances to 1mm and now the threads work directly from the print. Cut a cone at the thread ends to facilitate an easier fit.
