Customizable Trammel of Archimedes Model

This is a model desk toy that was created to replicate a CGI gif I saw on reddit. There was a discussion about if the gif was real or if it could work, so I attempted to recreate it. This is the result. It is a 8 way Trammel of Archimedes that works by use user moving the handle/post around the base. This causes the set of arms to rotate with each ball moving back and forth in a straight line. The model is customizable using openSCAD to change almost everything about it including the number of balls, the base size, etc. I'm hopeful that some of the code may be useful to someone learning openScad and trying to do things like place items evenly around the end of a circle. There are 3 files: 1. The Base 2. The arm and balls 3. The handle that holds the arm If you edit the openSCAD files, update the variables in each file with the same values to make sure your parts will work together.
