Customized Bowden Extruder Mount With 1/8'' BSPT Thread

thingiverse

I have decided to heavily edit the original [Customizable Bowden Extruder | Mount for ANET A8 & Others](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2204941) as the thread was incompatible with the [original E3D pushfits](http://e3d-online.com/Threaded-Bowden-Coupling-1.75mm-Filament) which use 1/8'' BSPT thread instead of standard M threads. So, I took [Motorbase for 1/8" BSPT push fitting, Anet A8](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2154859) ripped the thread out of it and merged it with the original bowden mount. Full list of changes: * Mount has been mirrored so it can be mounted on the left side of the frame. * The thread is designed to be a 1/8'' BSPT thread. * Customized for 1.75 mm filament using the original Anet A8 Nema17 motor and the [original E3D hobbed gear](http://e3d-online.com/Hobb-Goblin-5mm?search=hob). * The mount can now (and should) be printed sideways as in the STL. This makes for a better thread and holes for the filament. Use a lot of supports though. As there was no mention of the screw that goes into the extruder, I found that the longest Allen screw that comes with the Anet A8 (and is usually part of the extruder cooling fan) works best if you use a nut and washer on top. See the image for better view. There is no need to overtighten it, as the original E3D hobbed gear is sharp as hell. Rest of the assembly instructions can be found on the [original thing](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2204941), and are the same like for this one. I have also included the Blender files in case you want to edit it further.
