This is a crucial next step in designing an adjustable, personalized name key fob, created to provide a fundamental introduction to OpenSCAD for community members through Let's Code Blacksburg. (https://www.facebook.com/groups/letscodeblacksburg/) The purpose of this demonstration is to showcase the core capabilities of parameterization within OpenSCAD and in conjunction with Thingiverse Customizer, along with the utilization of the minkowski() operation. With the Customizer tool, users can modify the dimensions of both the fob body and the keychain loop. Furthermore, they have the ability to adjust how far the keychain loop extends beyond the end of the fob. Moreover, the text display, font style, as well as the height or depth of the text can be altered. The text may protrude above the surface or be recessed into it based on the sign of its corresponding parameter. This version also allows users to specify the edge roundness of the fob and the number of sides on the keychain loop, making various shapes such as squares, hexagons, octagons, etc., possible for the loop.
