Cut Bottle Wine Glass

We made this just fooling around with our glass cutter and decided a Wine glass from a Bottle top would be pretty interesting. Printed with Simplify3D See instructions below for details. We used this bottle Glass cutter: (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZMPZ23S?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00) works pretty good even though you have to fig-it with the settings a bit. It appears to be home made, painted by hand then sold on Amazon, How I Designed This Process Used for Bottle Cut Wine Bottle using a bottle cutter. Use sand paper starting with 220 Grit Sand until smooth and all uneven surfaces are flat. Next use 320 grit, 400 grit to smooth the edge of the glass and make it more like a proper wine glass. Place the wine bottle cork into the glass from the top and push in leaving 1" at the bottom for the printed base. 3D Print this base and push into the I.D. of the bottle opening. Print should be firm, if it is not then you may need to make the diameter a little larger. (Not all are the same size, I had to reprint as well to get a snug / tight fit. Enjoy!
