This simple model of iron meteorite was made in order to learn some more about procedural texturing in Substance Designer. Widmanstätten patterns (or Thomson structures), noticeable after cutting nickel-rich meteorites, are a very special formations of kamacite and taenite, which can only form over literally millions of years of very slow cooling in outer space.
