Cutting template for PTFE extruder tubes. Designed to facilitate squaring the end and then cutting to a specific length PTFE tubing for use inside a 3D printer extruder. The template is used by inserting a long length of tubing and then cutting it flush with the side of the template. The openings that go through from side to side are used to true the end of the length/spool of tubing and the the opening at the end is used to cut the tubing to length. A sharp thin blade, such as an X-Acto knife, should be used to cut the tube. Make sure the tube is fully inserted and bottomed in the template to get the correct length. The provided STL file is configured for a Flashforge Finder extruder, but may work for others, otherwise a custom template can be created using the Customizer. The tubing length and diameter is "engraved" into the template to help identify the proper one in the event may different versions are produced. The tube should stay in position within the template just fine, but extra material to hold the tube is provided by the middle and end retainers. Either or both retainers can be eliminated through the customizer if they interfere with removing or completely inserting the tubing.
