I needed to cut some slots in the end of some half inch aluminium pipe while making an antenna. the end of the pipe needs to clamp onto a thinner pipe with a hose clamp so I made a pair of these to use as a template and to hold the pipe in the vice while i cut the slots with a hacksaw
