CW-5200 Chiller Cap for use with aquarium heater

I made this as a result of watching Chads Custom Creations YouTube video on winterizing your laser (https://youtu.be/jc2yXDF9YZI). My laser is in an unheated space and I had been using an electric blanket to keep the temperature of the water in the chiller/laser tube in the 15-20C range. Adding an aquarium heater to the chiller water tank in the winter months enables the water to maintain a steady temperature without using RV antifreeze. I do keep the chiller running when the laser is not in use to keep the water circulating through the system. Print one of the inner caps and the outer cap. The slot enables the heater wire to be fed through the cap. Put the outer cap on with the slot facing the opposite direction to prevent dust etc making its way into the water tank - a little hot glue might be a good idea to seal up the portion where the wire goes through. The alternate inner cap is for use if you don't want the regular cap to ensure the heater remains submerged. *Note*: I have a CW-5200 but this should work on a CW-3000 and CW-5000 as well - let me know if not and I'll adjust the model to suit. **Note** A broken aquarium heater or pieces of plastic in the water tank is going to damage the pump and probably other components of your chiller and/or laser if a broken piece makes it into the circulating water. By using this item you assume full responsibility for any risk of potential or actual damage.
