This is a clockwise centrifugal fan impeller with forward-curved blades: 100 mm diameter, 40 mm high with a 4.75 mm mounting bore. (~3 15/16" x 1 37/64" x 3/16"). There are lots of good blower/squirell fan blades on Thingiverse; and some of the Customizer ones are quite amazing. But they all used so much material for the mounting cone and took so long to print. I ended up making this one to custom meet my needs - exhaust fan. It's a tradeoff between strength, blower efficiency, and print time. I have attached the Inventor 2017 file; it is fully parameterized allowing selection of height, diameter, number of blades, etc. You can also hide the scoop cutout to create a stronger and more efficient blower, but print time goes up by about 40%. Print Settings Printer: QB-BD Two Up Rafts: No Supports: Yes Infill: 30% Notes: Printed in PLA with CuraEngine; supports required. I created a new Configuration where I edited the Infill "Shell Thickness" in the Structures tab; I set this to 1.4 mm to create thicker walls. Post-Printing Strengthening Depending on your material and the quality of your printer, any banding will reduce the strength of the print. As the blade spins up, it will undergo high centrifugal forces. I used super glue to strength some of the areas, then sprayed an acrylic coating over the whole thing. Finally, I used some Gorilla Glue on the top ring as it meets the blades. All this should help the blade last for a long time.
