Cyclone Dust Collector

This is really a remix of Cyclone Filter by Dronnn March 17, 2018 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2829268 but for some reason the remix search function did not work. Nonetheless I want to give proper credit. This is a larger version where the inlet and outlet are 59mm instead of the original 40mm. This will accept the standard 2.5" hose without an adapter or coupling. Home Depot's rigid line of shop vac 2.5" hoses will work see pictures. I printed this with in draft mode 0.2mm with 15% infill. You can increase the infill to 19% and still print the top with a 1kg spool. The bottom portion use only about 500 grams. On the bottom I used a brim to keep the base from warping. This design uses 3/8" bolts and nuts to fasten onto the bucket lid. I used pegboard as a backer on the lid to create a stiffener. I had originally printed Captain 3d's cyclone filter but found that I lost a lot of suction with the reduction in hose size (see picture comparison of the two units). I also found having a hose larger than the internal diameter of the cyclone separator can cause blockage. This model preserves the internal dimension all the way through the air passage. I have achieved greater than 95% separation of the dust UPDATE! I have added the Blender file for those who want to tweak the model.
