Cyclone Dust Separator for vacuum cleaner

Cyclone Dust Separator for vacuum cleaner

Work in progress. This is a cyclone seperator which can be used with a vacuum cleaner. Be aware: The seperation doesnt work 100%. So the air that is comming out the seperator still needs filtering. (mostly ver small part and dust) But I'm happy for every particle that is filtered out. :-) Highlight: For mounting it has a screw design to screw into any hole of 64-65 mm in diameter. The screw is designed for 3D printing (no support needed for the thread part.) On the main body you only need support for the intake hole. (see image) There are no supports needed for the all thread parts. The big surface of the cyclidner goes on to the print plate. (see image) The top part has also a thread, so you can easily change the top connector without printing the whole part again. I also added my adapter for my hose with the appropriate spiral cutout. But this will probably not fit other yours. My current version I use is older than this design. I added a seperation wall inside the seperator and dont know if it makes better or worse. Maybe I will print it in the future and see if it works better. But because its a big print and I have a working version I dont need to print it again. I added the fusion file so you can make your own connectors and adapters to your need. The fusion file is in a later version of the design as the one I uploaded here. It contains a screw cap for the horizontal input hole which I'm not sure will print and work well. The idea is also to be able just to print the connector and not the whole cylinder. Any feedback and remakes appreciated. happy printing. :-)
