Cyclone Dust Seperator for 1 7/8" hose RIGID shop vac

This is a 2 piece design that will print on machines with 8x8x8 bed. Support is built in on the cylinder. You have to cut out the opening for the dust inlet prior to using! I am not an expert in Solidworks, so there are probably better ways to draw it and I have included the part files if you need to modify them. (if you intend to make one, I would recommend increasing the wall thickness of the two parts. Update 2: I printed they cylinder part. Definitley too thin - had several delamination issues, but acetone did the trick. it fits together nice and the opening fit my Rigid shop vac hoses nicely. Will coat with xtc-3d and then acetone glue it together (no xtc on the joint areas). I'll post some pictures when its complete. Update 1: I printed the cone. I printed it with only 10% infill. Print came out nice, but the sides are pretty thin. Since the walls are so thin, I am not sure increasing the infill would do a lot?? I will probably increase wall thickness next time to improve strength and will smooth this copy out with acetone to spread things out and try to eliminate any de-lamination issues. Might also give the xtc-3d coating a try as well.
