CycloneShock Shotgun Cylinder and Swapper Bit

CycloneShock Shotgun Cylinder and Swapper Bit

For your Nerf Mega CycloneShock. (NOTE: WILL NOT WORK ON A ROTOFURY. I may make one, but only if I get a rotofury, and I have no idea when that will be.) I've got the manual I made somewhere around here... Well, in lieu of that, I'll just say stuff here. Probably better that way. Print any way you like, it might need some tweaking to get barrel fit right, I recommend printing small sections (by stopping the printer a while into the print) and testing. Infill not critical on the cylinder (I use 10%, it would probably be fine with none at all), though the single cylinder base needs it or the layers will sag, since they're almost horizontal. Use high infill on the swapper bit, it needs the strength. Also, there are some wedges modeled on the inside of the catch (on the swapper bit). This is support, so your printer doesn't have to print a giant pillar up to the top, and you don't have to remove one. Simply sand them down so the catch surface is flat and perpendicular to the top. The small hole on top of the cylinder is the hole for the alignment post. Take the cartridge out of a standard Bic ballpoint pen, and cut the pen casing to length for a post. You might need to cut it longer than necessary, and shave it down. This saves about an hour and a half of print time, and is stronger than a printed post. The swapper bit is not necessary for either cylinder, but it makes life so much easier if you can just swap at your leisure. (and you do have to sand the insides of the barrels to acommodate the dart placement). Well, I'm done. For now. -Nevets01
