Cylinder Ceiling Thing
thingiverse
Ever encounter a situation where you need to print a cylindrical hole that gradually tapers down in diameter as it rises? I found myself frequently facing this challenge (think screw-holes at the bottom of objects), so I developed this OpenSCAD code snippet (now a customizer) to efficiently generate such holes. The code transitions smoothly from the larger diameter to the smaller one using two carefully designed layers that guide your slicer to perform intelligent bridging.
