Cylindrical cutters are mainly used for processing complex surfaces, as well as when working with stainless heat-resistant steel, structural steel, gray cast iron, easily processed materials (copper, aluminum), organic glass, laminated plastics and fiberglass. They are most often used with screw teeth, because they are more functional, and processing is performed more efficiently. When developing cutters with screw teeth, the master must take into account the load on the structure - this ensures more accurate and high-quality operation of the tool.
