Cylllka's gimbal design is available at http://www.simplebgc.com/mechanics/cylllka/. I am experimenting with creating a 3D printed version of the gimbal. In my adaptation, I made the doubled-up pieces 4mm in height instead of stacking them to simplify the design. Some parts resemble standoffs, but their actual purpose and height are unclear. Additionally, I designed one-piece rod holders as an alternative option that might perform better. The instructions for this project can also be found on the same website.
