CZ P-07/P-10c Magazine Extension

thingiverse

This is a simple magazine extension for the CZ P-07 / P-10c magazine. It is based on general existing models of common magazine extensions. It serves as a proof-of-concept only. It's also significantly cheaper to produce than equivalent commercial options. Note that the hole in the bottom of the extension is not intended to line up with the original spring-attached floor plate catch, it is only there to allow the user to push the printed catch for disassembly. That being said: it is *HIGHLY* recommended that this be printed rotated around 45 degrees along the x axis for maximum strength along the z axis. The maximum amount of stress when a magazine is fully loaded will be along the z axis. The point with the weakest strength, and therefore the highest probability of failure, is along the horizontal grooves where the metal lips of the bottom of the magazine slide in. Printing this model as presented will lead to failure. Regardless of the material or methods used to print, these grooves should be afforded the most strength possible. *Failure to account for this weakness could cause catastrophic failure of the extension, and could lead to injury and damage to the magazine or firearm.* *This is not intended or designed to circumvent any laws or regulations limiting magazine capacity in any locale. Use or possession of a physical version of this model may constitute a crime in some areas.*
