D cell adapter for 18650 with Maglite

I needed an adapter to use two 18650 batteries in my 3 D cell Maglite. (I purchased a 1100 lumen LED mod for my Maglite that can handle over 9V.) Inspired by R. Walters' design (3473442, I don't have a metal lathe) I crafted this simple adapter that uses a #6-32 x 2" bolt from my local big box and a piece of copper for contacts. Works for me!
