D-Shaft Stove Knob

D-Shaft Stove Knob

thingiverse

Spurred by outrageous prices on replacement stove knobs in the store, I decided to make my own... It was a great exercise in improving my 3D design skills. This knob should fit many brands of electric stoves; Mine is a Wards (old), but it uses a standard 1/4" D-shaft. I made several iterations, but wound up using the "Knob only lg hole" and the "Knob skirt" for the knob in the photo. Many stoves that use an 8-position knob for the burners can use these. I have included the 123D design file for those who want to modify. There is also an oven control knob skirt to go with the burner knobs. Sorry, no oven temp knob.
