Da Vinci 1.0 Filament Guide

After I upgraded my printer to repetier, I wanted to experiment with other filaments, but most of these other filaments would not fit in the Da Vinci cartridges. I searched thingiverse and printed sedzen's Spool Holders, which worked, but the filament kept rubbing against the top of my printer, and felt out of place. I searched for filament guides for my printer but when I didn't find any that met my needs I decided to design my own. After about 6 attempts of trial and error, this is the design I came up with. The guide attaches to the top of the printer and slides with the filament to prevent the filament from snapping, which was a big issue for me, as I was using Protopasta's Carbon Fiber filament. In the end, I'm quite happy with how the final design came out, and I can safely say that it has improved the efficiency and aesthetic appeal of my printer.
