Add three or five white LEDs and resistors and this will shine a bright light onto your hot ends so you can really see what is going on with your print. Instructions Print out. Clean out the holes. Put LEDs into holes and wire them up. I used an old USB cable to provide power from a phone charger to power them. Remember to put a 220ohm resister in series with each LED. The back cover is optional but it looks cleaner when you don't have wires showing.
