There is much on the internet with regard to the authenticity of the Bicycle sketche discovered in the Codex Atlanticus. My interpretation incorporates his knowledge of gears as well as his ball and spool bearing design for the wheel axles as well as a pivot for the bike frame to allow the front wheel to be steered. If Da Vinci is the inventor of the first bicycle design, I am sure he would have made it very similar to this design. I hope you enjoy. - C. Ridley
