Leonardo da Vinci's Cryptex Over 11 million combinations to hide your secret... Cryptex, whose paternity is attributed to Leonardo da Vinci, uses "CRYPTology to protect information which is itself noted on a parchment roll or codEX". It's a real little pocket safe, well, a big pocket, because it's 20 cm long by 6 cm in diameter. Nevertheless, all parts remain printable on a 20/20 machine because no part is longer than 14 cm. The combination of the 5 letters is of course adjustable, and unlike those on the market, it is equipped with a more sophisticated mechanism with notches to align the letters. With the right colors, your cryptex will be visually very close to the one from the movie "The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown!
