I downloaded Da Vinci Pro Radius PTFE fix idea by jartz, published Dec 23, 2016 And remixed it. I chose the design with no braces. I added 3 loops. It’s harder to install now, you have to remove the filament and remove one end of the PTFE tube and slide this tube radius guide down to the hot end. It was too tall for the enclosure so I modified it a little. I have been thinking about this mod for some time and seeing this tube guide was just the inspiration I needed to get me going on it. I bought some 4mm hose fittings, but with 6mm threads. This will let the 4mm PTFE tube pass straight through the fitting. I removed the hot end assy and took it apart. I removed the 2 parts circled in pic 1, then I inserted the 4mm tube fitting into the hole that the black rubber guide came out of. I secured the fitting with a 6mm nut. I should have used a jam nut, but I didn’t have one, so I used this big old klunky full size nut you see in the pictures. The PTFE tube slides right through the 4mm fitting and down into the little metal guide down below, where the short piece of tubing used to go. Now it is one solid piece of tube from the extruder to the hot end.
