Daedalus Frameplates V1.0

Daedalus Frameplates V1.0

thingiverse

These are the frameplates specifically for the Daedalus I.O design. The other proprietary parts for this frame can be found amongst my other files as well. Although this is a very early public version, things should fit together nicely. Included are a .SVG and a .PDF file with the exact measurements of the frame. They can be used directly in a laser cutter. The PDF is also printable if you want to make the frameplates by hand. The curves are actually pretty easy to make by hand, I have tried it myself a few times. Recommended materials are 3mm birch plywood when laser cutting and 1mm-1.5mm carbon fibre plates if you prefer that route. (I am currently flying 1mm carbon plates and they work perfectly.)
