Here's a remix of this design that I came up with: I started by taking a close look at the original design on Thingiverse and identifying what I loved about it - the sleek lines, the simplicity, and the overall aesthetic. I then set out to create my own take on the design, while still maintaining those same elements. First, I began by tweaking the dimensions of the part. I wanted to make sure that it would fit perfectly in a standard 3D printer's build volume, so I made some adjustments to the length and width. This allowed me to keep the overall shape intact while ensuring that it would print smoothly and without any issues. Next, I turned my attention to the details. I added some subtle curves to the design, which gave it a more dynamic feel. I also made sure to maintain the same level of precision in the corners and edges, so that the part would still have a clean and finished look. One of the things I wanted to change was the material usage. The original design called for PLA, but I thought it would be interesting to try out PETG instead. This gave me the opportunity to experiment with different printing techniques and settings, which ultimately resulted in a stronger and more durable part. Finally, I added some finishing touches to the design. I created a small lip around the edges, which not only made it easier to handle but also gave it a more premium feel. I also added some subtle texture to the surface, which helped to reduce the likelihood of scratches or marks. The end result is a remix that stays true to the original design while still offering a fresh and unique take on it. It's perfect for anyone looking to create a sleek and functional part that will stand out in any project.
