This is the male part of a buckle compatible with Dainese buckles used in their body armour and back protectors. Use with the female part here http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1164007 I thought this part may be too weak to work but it actually feels very strong when printed at 100% infill. This part needs support under half the base which worked fine but I have added a thicker version that doesn't need this. Warning: This is not meant to be used as a replacement part on vital safety equipment Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa Mendel i2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 100% Post-Printing Removing support The male part needs support under the knob which can be bit tricky to remove. After removing you will need to file the shaft smooth to allow it to connect to the female part, don't file too much this needs to be a very tight fit.
