DanLARP Defense Fixed Sights

This is part of the LARPerator Gucci Kit lineup I am working on. I'm in gun mode so I'm going to make some Gucci parts for my airsoft rifle.  The DanLARP Defense fixed front sights are modeled after the real thing, in true LARPy fashion. They are tool-less mount and are as snug as a bug. They feature a large and small flip-up aperture on the rear and an adjustable front sight post.  If you are tired of the MBUIS look, try these out. These are not lower 1/3 cowitness and actually line up at the bottom of the glass on my real sight. PRINT NOTE: mating surfaces have a .3-.5 mm tolerance to account for my Printer. The sights in the pictures were printed usign my Anycubic Chiron at .3mm LH, using Prusament Galaxy Black at 185/65. Always have to bump retraction up with Prusament, and still got some whispy strings this time. I printed with supports to get better rounded edges, but if your filament doesnt warp you can probably print without them. Although, mine still warped a bit because I left a window open. If the front sight doesn't sit flat, add 1 degree to x-axis rotation (simplify3D). For everything at once, 2 hr print time at 60mm/s. Be sure you print 2 Rear Sight Windage Wheels, and be careful removing them and the other small parts from th print bed or raft, they are fragile. Assembly Screw front sight post into front sight. Insert the rear peep rod into one side of the rear sight, then place the rear sight peep into the top/center position, ensuring that the champfered sides of the apertures face you. then push or tap the rod through the peep and through the hole on the other side of the sight. Glue the rod OR peep in place if necessary (wasn't for me), then glue rear windage wheels in place. INSTALL Be very cautious when installing these. They are meant to be a snug fit so nuts and bolts won't be required. Sand the mounting surfaces down if it is too snug. For reference, the way I mount and remove these is by gently tapping them into position using the flat side of pliers (use a hammer if you're not too lazy to go get one). BE SURE THE SIGHTS ARE SLIDING ALONG THE RAIL EVENLY ON BOTH SIDES. I have only broken 1 sight, and that was because it was sliding off askew which caused a bit to snap off at the end. To lock sight into position insert stud into side of sight and push through, it will be snug so cautious tapping may be required, then insert locking pins into front of sights. Remember this is designed to be snug in x/y/z without nuts and blots, so a tight fit is to be expected, BE CAUTIOUS.
