Danuuc's Dremel Router Base

(FIRST THINGIVERSE PUBLICATION! YAY!) I wanted to be able to have a precise way to control a Dremel tool and the aftermarket router bases that I saw for it were $50 -$100. I had a new Anet A8 and Sketchup, so in about two hours I went thru multiple iterations of designs to arrive at the final design and started printing it late that morning. I think this will fit a majority of the Dremel tools with the threaded ring at the tip. It uses 1/4-20 carriage bolts (>4" long?) as vertical guides with two knurled knob adapters with 1/4-20 nuts to create an adjustable frame. Works like a charm. After printing I drilled out the 1/4" holes on the base and the so they were a fit to my liking. The threads for the Dremel were reuse from a different Thingiverse model by topias5 (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1222591) and the knobs were a slimmed down version of Frugalshave's knob(http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:177400). Print Settings Printer Brand: Prusa Printer: Prusa Steel Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Notes: For the base I had issues with keeping it flat as I needed it to be.(PLA) The third attempt at printing it I used a Raft base in Cura and that kept it flat, but required a lot of model cleanup at the end. I printed it with a light fill. The Upper carriage I printed with a solid fill with the bottom oriented up to give the two components relatively flat mating surfaces when setting at the lowest level. Temps were 200/60(Nozzle/Bed) for all PLA pieces. Post-Printing Threads for the Dremel will require some careful cleanup, but the Dremel will eventually fit nicely. How I Designed This Sketchup
