Dark One Dagger - "poison claw" no glue, just a screw

thingiverse

This is my remix of the project Customizable Dark One Dagger https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1173095 He received the Latin name "poison claw" ;) I hate glue, in addition, the glued model is very delicate. This version should withstand a fall and not a lot of impact. I divided the dagger into three parts, the blade, the hilt, and the screw-on pommel. The printed rod goes through the handle and threads the other parts together. The rod is proposed to be printed in a lying position, which will give it adequate tensile strength. I print a little below the plane of the table (2-3 mm) instead of messing with the supports. This gives proper adhesion and does not affect the screwing in of the rod (it does not have to be completely round, it can be slightly bevelled). Printed with PETG: nozzle: 0.6 layer: 0.12 - due to the thread pitch 1.5 supports: YES (handle) walls: 4-5 (which gives durability) they should come out of PLA as well EDIT: I reupload STL files. I separated the handle into two parts, now you can print it vertically without supports.
